A lot of game left but with a 6 run lead and hot bats it has to be crossing bianco's mind, how do we hope to set up tomorrow's pitching?

Morris, rabe, hooks and Spencer? If we can have those 4 available tomorrow, that should be very helpful

Something tells me we're gonna have to score 15 to win this one. Murray State has some very good hitters.

On a side note, has anyone else noticed that left fielders seem to struggle picking up high fly balls at night?

We're good for tonight. This Murray State pitching staff is done. It's up to our hitters to feast on shitty pitchers and so far they've done it tonight.

I would pitch Dennis until he passes out, or vomits, or starts bleeding out of his a-hole.

I would give him an iv. Steroids. Fluids. Cocaine. What fricking ever it takes to get him through this game.

He can throw 150 pitches and blow out his elbow for all I give a frick.

Nah. These guys have got the wind knocked out of them. They'll score a few more runs. But they're already thinking about tomorrow.

Not sure 15 will be enough...

Well we're gonna score 20 so 15 is a mute point. Just preserve our pitching as much as possible. If Dennis taps out I want to see guys out there i dont recognize. Walkons. True fricking freshmen. Whatever. Anyone other than someone we might need tomorrow.

Our best case scenario has happened so far today. Keep it going and start Mason Morris tomorrow and we host a super regional next weekend.

O’Conner is a great hire for State but man, for an AD that’s had trouble raising money, they continue to invest the money they do have in the wrong spots. There’s a reason they’re just now getting an indoor football practice facility 20+ years after everyone else

I'm not too worried bout the hire. There are 5-6 programs in the SEC that are ahead of them and will continue to be ahead of them.

Against Duke, no less.

Duke.

We need to beat a 4 seed mid major tomorrow in order to host a Super against Duke.

If we don't get to Omaha, we need to lynch Bianco on the Square.

Conversely, if we do get to Omaha with a team that was picked to finish 15th in the conference, then this is Bianco's greatest coaching job of his career.

Is this a paradox? Yes.

Is it fair? No.

Can I explain it? No.

It's just baseball. That's just its nature.

Furniss is an amazingly slow runner. It really is surprising that he's as successful as he is when he drags arse around the diamond.

Furniss

He's slow and fat and doesn't have a particularly good glove at 1B. But he can hit and apparently we don't have anyone better. Although if we find a true 2B I wouldn't mind seeing Utermarck at 1B next year.

I also appreciate Furniss' family doing the Disco Inferno dance behind home plate whenever he comes to bat. It's kind of spreading throughout the stadium at this point.

Utermark is getting drafted this year. He won't be back next year.

Can we buy that player from Murray State that keeps getting hits? He is 12 for 15 in the regional.

This is where we need to step up and pay what it takes to keep him. Another year hitting like this and his draft bonus will jump up another $1-2 million.

We just need to be in a position to provide the bridge money

Landon Waters. A name I have literally never heard of before right now. The perfect pitcher to carry us home. I don't care if he gives up 6 runs. Whatever.
