Why on earth are we pitching Elliott?? We need to win 2 games anyways to host. Better to keep him on schedule

I read something today saying the consensus had switched to whichever team wins this game will host. So maybe someone tipped off Bianco that he just needed to win one, which changes his formula.

Bianco though this was critical to a host. Let's see if he's right because bearing Arkansas with the rest of this staff seems like a tall order.

If we're going to host then we're going to have to steal the host spot from Alabama. We have the better SEC record after last night's win, now we need to figure out how to beat Arkansas on Friday. If we do that, then that should lock up the host spot over Alabama, IMO.
ETA: Baseball America flipped the host spot to us already, but we need to win Friday to guarantee it.

I agree that a win Friday guarantees it. SI said yesterday that a win against Florida would lock it up. If it's a coin flip with Bama I think we win it based on attendance and atmosphere at Swayze
