Maybe I’m missing one other or even two, but that felt like the worst loss in the Chris Beard era at OM. All coaches pick them up and he did last night. That one coupled with what we have left and a 1-5 finish to the season is not only possible but probable. Limping into the finish with your fate in the hands of the NCAA always concerns me.

Y'all reckon we can win two more SEC regular season games? Maybe Oklahoma or even Tennessee at home and/or swap the Tennessee win for a road win at Vandy Saturday. That would allow us to finish at 10-8 which is fine. We ain't winning at Auburn or Florida.

Sure. We've shown we can play with anyone. And we've shown we can win big games. We've stayed healthy. We're theoretically getting better as the season goes on just based on the fact that these guys hadn't played together before.

lol this team is just coasting and playing through the motions now. Either Beard is focusing on Indiana or this team has quit since they’re locked in the tournament.

Yep we are really good offensively when we run plays and pass the ball. We go ice cold when we play 1 on 1 basketball the last 3 minutes. Beard just not calling timeouts and trying to set plays up is infuriating at times.

This team is cooked goose. We will get blown out by Tennessee, Auburn, and Florida while barely getting by Oklahoma at home to finish out the regular season. We will lose in the first round of the SEC tournament. Somehow we will get a 9 seed in the NCAA tournament only to get blown out by some team like George Mason.

This is probably the last game I’ll watch until the ncaa tournament game. We absolutely slept walked the first 10 minutes and got down 19 because of it. Then the last 5 minutes we had zero ball movement. I don’t really see this team doing anything the rest of the way at this point.

Bottom line, let's just get into the tournament and see if we can win one. That's about all we can hope for at this point. Too many missing pieces just yet for us to expect more. Painful, but true. I mean, let's face it, is it possible this team could start the tournament losing 7 straight? Man, wouldn't that be some shite. It's certainly possible.

Try as I may over many years, I just can't get in to following basketball. That's no knock on anyone that does, it's just I find my self not caring about it at all, despite my efforts. I usually will even sit down to watch a game, only to end up getting bored with it and either turning to something else or just doing something else entirely. I'm glad the program is trending up but other than just name recognition with my alma mater, I just don't get it.

It doesn’t help when this team routinely gets down 15 points and has to crawl all the way back to make it interesting at the end and then they’ll go stone cold for 5 minutes of game time . It’s not exactly pleasurable to watch
