Yeah I think the making the tournament was the goal all year. Whatever happens in the tournament doesn’t matter this year.

I mostly just hate we have to play a team coming off a win 2 days earlier. One of those Dayton 11 seeds always uses the momentum to make a run

They can gain momentum but suffer fatigue and injury as well. Our opponent has to play Thurs(SDS)/Friday(UNC), Wednesday, Friday. And I trust the coach that got us a 6 in the tournament year two.

not the biggest fan of playing a team who has to hear "you don't belong". That's a lot of bulletin board and motivational material.

If I had to choose one team to play Friday, it would be UNC. They're an iconic team and any win against them on a national stage is a big win for our program.
And frankly, I'm not afraid of Iowa St either. We can win that game as well.

Haven’t heard any rumors about IU here lately (also haven’t looked tbf) but hopefully this means they’re not looking at Beard anymore
