Somewhere on our schedule we will lose three in a row. Or three out of four at least. I would rather it be now than in late February. Kick this team down a notch and let them sort it out and pull themselves back together.
We aren't the most complete team in the league by any means. On paper State is significantly more talented. We've just played well and they haven't. Which is basically all on Beard.
He's an absolute giant of a coach and a total steal by Carter. I hope he does as well on our June 2025 baseball coaching search.

Only having 1 free throw this half certainly doesn't help either. We are just playing bad in all facets of the game.
But we are the less talented team and on the road so not surprising. This loss doesn't change anything for the goals of the season

We ended the half as well as we could have hoped to right there. Hopefully we pull our heads out of our asses in the 2nd half. It should honestly be worse.

This is Mississippi State's super bowl. I wouldn't put too much thought into the outcome of this game. They are little brother and always will be.

Jesus, if you are 3-11 from the 3 pt line a hero ball contested 3 with 15 seconds left was not the shot we were looking for.
