The one thing I like about bowl games is playing new teams... TT just doesn't do it for me I guess. Seen them enough already

I’m happier with the Texas Bowl than the Music City or Duke’s Mayo Bowl. I was really nervous we would be in the Liberty Bowl

After this game we'll have played Texas Tech 6 times since '98 for comparison since '98 we've played SEC East teams (excluding Vandy):

Just another reminder of how we shite the bed in the Egg Bowl. But, it’s not a bad bowl and it’s in a great stadium. We need to win it. I hope all our folks play.

The Texas Bowl payout (6.4M) is the same as ReliaQuest (6.4M) and more than Music City (5.7M) and Duke's Mayo (4.8M). Houston average temp. on gameday is 64 and Nashville is 49. It's a good bowl and what we deserved. Not thrilled with this opponent.

Yeah a very blah matchup but we shot ourselves in the foot with this making it self inflicted

The Oxford ms concert tickets don’t even go on sale until the 16th

I prefer the Texas Bowl over Nashville. The Music City bowl is cold AF and the Titan's stadium whips the wind around and makes it even colder. No thanks to Nashville hope we never go back there again. I really don't understand why so many people wanted that one. I would rather go somewhere warm.

If it meant we got to play literally any other P5 school at all, I would've been cool with Nashville.
