I’m trying not to be emotional, but blowing those two TOs before the 2PT attempt might have been my breaking point.

My head almost exploded.

It was like “frick it. We gonna get this anyway.”

If I were Keith Carter, I would tell him we have a new contract offer without a raise or he can sign with Auburn if they will still take him.

I just got rained on for 4 hours to watch that piss poor performance. By the end of the game all I could think about was “I honestly don’t care if lane leaves and I think it would be better if we just parted ways”. I dunno how you hold the fan base together after the shite he pulled the last couple weeks when our fricking fans put together everything he asked for and more. frick that ungrateful douche.

This season reminds me of when Mullen had state 7-0 and highly ranked (was this when they were #1?) heading into Alabama with all their SEC games left and they stumbled through the rest of the season

Looking back at this post I made before the Bama game, I think I was on to something

He has absolutely no regard at how he treats people. His Asperger’s or whatever spectrum disorder he has, allows him to do whatever he wants and hide behind his snarky tweets .

Honestly, this is where I'm at too. I'll take my chances with someone else.

Nope and I understand that there’s certain exceptions. But if LSU, Bama, Georgia etc goes 8-4 a few seasons they’re firing their coach. If we want to be a big boy we need to win and perform like big boys.

Yeah, this is a loss I will quickly get over. Not nearly as hard to stomach as some others. So much going on that just does not even need to be discussed any further. State deserved to win and we did not for a number of reasons. You get what you ask for.

I honestly hope Lane learns from this late season collapse and stays, but there has to be some conversations and accountability regarding the circus the fanbase has endured over the past week. It’s not sustainable. We will all begin to hate his guts, and a lot of fans already do.

If he stays, he HAS to fire Weis Jr and Partridge. That’s non-negotiable for me. They have been the obvious weak points this year

Haha, but we gotta keep dissecting this thing, so...

Kiffin said State absolutely went for broke with their defensive approach. Zero coverage, shut down the run and cross your fingers. It worked. We had like 39 carries, for 78 yards. Haha, that's something else. Damn, did Evans play. I know he did, but still.

Come on Mingo, I love ya brother, but you just. cannot. drop. that. pass.

Come on Lane, kick. the. damn. fieldgoal. You win. You also win the Alabama game if you just. kick. the. damn. field goal.

So Trigg was suspended? Explains why he was over the collar bone but still didn't see the field. No tight end equals big time struggles for us. Look what Alabama and Arkansas did to us with tight end play.

So what's the verdict on the transfer portal approach? It's Ok I suppose, but as you might expect, it probably doesn't equate to instant success in year one. Let's face it, that was not a great State team and we let them come in and take it. They deserved it. We did not. PERIOD!

A less talented Arkansas and State team out coached us to end the season.

On paper, 8-4 in a rebuilding year with a new QB is great but this year should have been better. And that's 100% on Kiffin. If you can't do your job at 100% despite outside distractions, that on you.

Ok, one more time, this was probably always about an 8-4 team. The very easy early schedule certainly propelled us to 7-0 and set us all up for the fall. It happens. All we had to do was rise up and get it done and we just weren't able to do that.

All 8 and 4s just are not the same. Losing that one tonight is rough. It's what in-state rivalries are made of. We'll have to look in the mirror and figure out who we are and where we go. This is all about a bunch of kids who can now get paid thousands, coached by a dude who gets millions. Ain't that some shite we get stirred up over.

Well, at least the laser light show before kickoff was cool

Maybe that will convince all the recruits to come to Ole Miss

So did they really kill the lights while state fans and players were still in the stadium and didn’t bring the trophy out?

Please tell me that’s true
