I have a bad feeling that if Kiffin leaves, he’s taking Judkins with him wherever he goes.

Ngl, losing definitely sucks more over these past two seasons. Especially when we could’ve won. At least with Luke I was numb to it haha. I predicted 10-3 for the season so that’s still very obtainable. I have no idea where we are NY6-wise if we win out or not. Hoping for a strong finish

I can’t see Lane leaving unless it’s a blue chip $12 mil/year job. I think he’s proving to the world that he can win at OM and he still has something left to prove.

But he ain’t gonna get it done with the coordinators we have.

And after last night he needs to lodge a complaint with the SEC on the officiating. It was horrible.

There will be at least 4 conference teams ranked ahead of us in the playoff poll, so it’s looking like we’ll get the Citrus or Outback.

Ole Miss was the better team last night. It's unfortunate to walk away with a loss. That officiating was horrible. So many no-calls on Alabama. Is it really too much to want a fairly officiated game?

The Vaught was rocking. We were consistently loud on every Alabama play, despite the bitter cold. You couldn't ask for anything better than that crowd yesterday.

I agree the officiating was terrible but we still should have won the game. Dart just sucks and the play calling wasn't doing us any favors.

Crazy people are complaining so much about a 8-2 rebuilding team that has a shot to go 10-2 again. We were the better team last night and our defense got better. Kiffin isn't leaving for one of the jobs currently open.

We were the better team yesterday at every position but QB. Young is one of the best QBs in the country and he’s the only reason Bama won that game. Dart played really well in the first half and was just awful in the 4th quarter. He missed a wide open Mingo that caused him to slide to catch the ball. If he hits Mingo in stride it might’ve been a touchdown. Dart kept trying to run the ball when he had a clean pocket to throw out of. I think he did it about 3 or 4 times in the 4th quarter. I don’t get why we went away from running the ball when we got inside the 15 at the end. We really needed to eat clock at the end and went away from Judkins. The Evans fumbled before half was a disaster. We were going to go up at half up by at least ten if Evans doesn’t fumble.

I think I’ve zeroed in on our problem. We can’t/don’t close out games. Even when we win.

But yes, 8-2 is superb with the new faces we have on the sideline from the coaches on down.

Is that a depth issue?

Also missed tackles kill us. We let teams extend drives because of poor tackling. I feel like every game we are on the verge of blowing it open then our defense gives up a garbage drive that puts the other team back in the game. Great teams never let up.

I think people realize 8-2 is great in general but when you only have two good teams on your schedule and you lose to both it’s disappointing.

Coupled with the fact that even in the games we won we haven’t been particularly impressive for a full 4 quarters. If it wasn’t for our elite run game this team would be unwatchable at times.

1 you saw the difference between having a heisman winner at QB vs just having a guy. Young didn’t play great but he made some key plays (thinking of turning a huge loss on a sack into a 40 yard gain, and hitting the TD pass on third down into a tight window under pressure). Dart currently just isn’t capable of that. Maybe he’ll make a leap next year like corral did

2 I think I read kiffin said judkins was spent at the end and that’s why he didn’t get the ball? Just highlights the need for three strong backs in this offense. Evans has had trouble staying healthy and Bentley has either been hurt or coaches don’t trust him. Need better depth at that spot

3 lay off evans for that fumble. Dude took a helmet to helmet shot on that play that should have been a penalty

4 a potential 10-2 record is pretty flattering to us, but we’re headed in the right direction

10-2 would be great, but these last couple of games will be dogfights.

I didn't know until yesterday that we hired Nick Savage as S&C here. Alabama and LSU this year looked a lot like Florida did late in games against top shelf talent the last two years with Mullen. The consensus at UF was that Savage did a great job of making the guys ready for a Hot Jorts of Gainesville calendar, but that the team was lacking on late game stamina and strength.

Not trying to stir the pot with rumors or pointing fingers in new directions - I feel like we mostly lost that game because Dart tried to do too much on his own those last four downs - but I can't help but feel like I'd seen that movie before in 2020 and 2021 at Florida.

I've seen a lot of people penciling in 10-2 already. We could just as easily finish 8-4.

That was our first November loss under Lane Kiffin. Let's see if we can rebound and close the season the right way!
