Coaches are cashing in on the good season. Take it as a compliment. This is normal.

Players are leaving because they are being replaced by better players or they want to get playing time because they aren't currently.

Why are you panicking?

This one makes me panic more than the others have simply because this is not only a lateral move.... its a lateral move within the same division of the same conf....... that seems more like a red flag than anything else has

Its not like its Lebby going to his alma mater

Drummond, Ealy, Robinson all declared for draft. I would think all these players could use another year or more tape right?

I don't think it's a lateral move.

A&M has more money at its disposal than UT, UGA, and Alabama combined. They are playing this NIL deal hard and they are getting the recruits to show for it. Durkin can move to A&M and have better players at his disposal and also have the "Co-DC" label stripped off. If you think this is a lateral move, think again. Sure, it is lateral as far as prestige goes but not as far as resources are concerned.

It’s hilarious and ironic that every notable coach except for Kiffin has left (as of today; he’ll probably leave too).

I’m afraid we’re going to have to let this year live in our hearts for a few years.

Our schedule still sets up nicely for a rebuild. 6-7 wins and I think we're okay.

I hate needless projections. I despite them.

But looking to 2022, we should be favored in at least 5 of our first 6 games. What does that mean right now? Nothing. But if we can do well in that stretch, we have a chance to win 7+ games on the season (barring unforeseen things).

People will be disappointed with 7 wins after winning 10....but we don't exactly win 17 games in two seasons very often.

I wouldn't panic if our coaches weren't doing lateral moves to the Mississippi State of Texas. A&M isn't shite but money and oil.

aTm has more money, better fans, better recruits, and better facilities. It’s an upward move outside of this past year.

The league minimum is about to go to $700k next year. These guys are probably at their height as far as draft potential goes. It's pretty hard to blame them for giving it a shot right now. Especially, running backs. I don't like it, but like I said.

Poor Kit Harrington. D&D really screwed his character even more so than Dany.

If you guys want to keep this thread as an off season thread until next year or whatever just let me know.

Yup. Our fans expect a Cadillac but don't realize we are on a Toyota Camry budget.

Consecutive seasons where the Rebals have won 17+ games since Johnny Vaught
2014 - 2015 (19 wins) (Hugh Freeze)
2013 - 2014 (17 wins) (Hugh Freeze)
2008 - 2009 (18 wins) (Houston Nutt heppin' people)
2002 - 2003 (17 wins) (David Cutcliffe)
1989 - 1990 (17 wins) (Billy Brewer)
1970 - 1971 (17 wins) (Johnny Vaught and Billy Kinard)

That's it.
