Luke has to find a way to scratch and claw his way to a bowl game if he wants to make it here. That additional month of practices is so key for a young team and recruiting.

I haven’t seen Pennamon hit the field yet this year or maybe I’ve missed him. I’m surprised he has stuck with us. Wasn’t he a top rated recruit out of Texas? Seems like Pellerin is getting the vast majority of reps at TE.

Me either. Must not be ready. Had some tough luck with that bad injury.

Injury is still bugging him and he's been beaten out by betters players at the RB position. Hasn't been able to see the field at TE either.

Speaking of tight end, let’s get the ball to Cooley more... despite the fumble. That was freak. And I’d like to see Corral lead Ealy more on those bubble screens. He could be off to the races. Lastly, let’s cover those back out of the backfield plays better somehow. They have been our nemesis through two games.

Cooley is a great option and showed that he has some illusiveness and speed in the open field, despite being so big. Go watch his HS highlights at Laurel. He's really damn good and needs to be utilized.

I think that was the 2nd worst injury an Ole Miss football player has had in my lifetime. Ken Webster against Florida State is easily the worst and he never was the same player after it happened. Everyone remembers Treadwell against Auburn but he didn’t destroy his knee. I wouldn’t be surprised if Tony Conner was way worse than it was reported. He was an NFL safety and after theknee injury was slow as shite.

Tim Simon broke his leg in half at South Carolina in 09. He never played again. Pretty sure Norwood made the tackle too. Thanks, Bradley Sowell.

Thought Simon broke his leg on kickoff coverage. Simon was gonna be great too.

I thought Simon and Rodney Scott were going to be legends

I was off today and had some down time so I zoomed through a replay. I think it was the most prepared Matt Luke team I’ve seen in a 2nd half. I’m also encouraged because it’s the 2nd week in a row I’ve seen good halftime adjustments offensively. Next year could be really fun.

How are SEC West Leaders doing??

Reveling in our spot as #1 in the West while it lasts. How about you?

I just want to see continued improvement and discipline as we proceed - and between getting smoked by Alabama, LSU and possibly Auburn and A&M. Maybe I’ll get proved wrong even in some of those. Yes, next year things could really start to take shape again, not that they haven’t already in a small way.

Pretty good. Hope to see you guys in Atlanta.
