This reliever has dropped his ERA from 6.90 to 6.22 in this one outing.

Hard to do at the very end of the season.

Romine started the night with a respectable .125 but I'm afraid he's gonna end up below .100 before the morning is over. That would be embarrassing.

Alright bases loaded with no outs. Surely we won't screw this up?

One of the most unclutch games we’ve ever had and we won. Wild

Also somehow in a 14 inning game we probably only burned 2 pitchers for the weekend. Calhoun could come back on Sunday. Hell even Hooks might be available for an inning on Sunday, but it would be doubtful

Can't imagine Hooks is available.

Love Hunter to death but at this point he is our worst of our 3 weekend starters.

We are actually ok pitching wise, which is kind of wild

Oh I 100% expect Cade to be knocked out in the 3rd inning and we spend all summer wondering how our top 10 draft pick pitcher failed us

pinch running Romine for your best hitter... and you didn't even score the run. Bianco is an idiot. the bunt call.. he knows his team can't bunt.. sending the runner at third when they brought in 5 infielders... there was only 1 out...

Sounds like Rabe is getting the start tonight over Cade.

Woah! Any reason why? Tonight is must win and you have more bullpen options on Sunday so I don’t get holding Cade back. Unless he is hurt or something.

ETA: only other reason I can think of is setting Rabe up to pitch Friday in a potential Super and wanting to give him an extra day of rest

I think Bianco is just going with the hoter hand. Rabe has been lights out the last two weekends and Cade has struggled.

Rabe has also been going deeper into games than Cade so it may also be to just try to protect the bullpen a bit more today
