No. I didn't expect Florida State to completely bomb on their search and having our plan A as the only guy willing to take the job. I also didn't expect Larry Fedora, Chip Long, Will Healy and Jeff Scott to be the names floated at this time.

Ehh I wouldn’t say that. I would say keith is knocking out the ground work on the backups while he waits for his shot at the big fish.

I’ve seen one unsubstantiated tweet from a Clarion-Ledger reporter. There are a few articles out there now that say Fedora is in the mix, the thing is, they all have the same source which is that tweet.
Eta: to answer your question, it’s coming from basically nowhere. Everyone seems to forget these writers need to generate page views and are capitalizing on people’s thirst for knowledge right now.
