While youre bitching about OM putting out a little shite talking directed at Freeze. USCe official football put out a 3 minute video making fun of UF and how open their WR was during the game that they curb stomped Florida.

Not gonna lie. I understand why our opponents hated Hugh Freeze when he was at Ole Miss. He looked like a HUGE phony knob on the sidelines Saturday.

Freeze’s coaching reputation got bailed out by his firing and he never actually had to face the music for failing so many years in a row to recruit defensive players. He also thought Longo and McGriff were solid hires.

It's hilarious how much we blame our defensive woes on Luke when it started in 2016 under Freeze's watch. The man is Houdini for avoiding that baggage.

That 2016rushing defense was puhpoo. They gave up 334 to Bama, 311 to LSU, 307 to Auburn, and 457 to State.

True, but even back then I felt like it was mostly due to the ongoing anal probe of a witch-hunt that had been going on for some time by then. It impacted recruiting immensely.

Freeze hired shitty coordinators and had trouble recruiting on the defensive side of the ball.
But the NCAA investigation just absolutely destroyed our recruiting from the top down.
