Defense has been legit again though, which is nice

Agree on the defense and this win is a program builder. We won a game we were supposed to on the road, but at a place where many previous teams couldn’t get it done.

We finally look like the teams we had under Freeze that I loved so much. Playing with an edge, calm and collected though and never out of a game. Night and day from last year

I wouldn’t say calm and collected. Dart got out of sorts during that 2nd quarter. Better teams will take advantage. BUT, the ability to recover shows maturity like you said. Overall, it was a bad game, but a good game to establish that we can be resilient and still win.

we still have the lulls on offense where it bogs down and I don't know if thats directly related to if Weis or kiffin is calling the plays for those respective series

There’s a clear delineation of playcalling

We have got to get more consistent on offense but our ceiling is incredible

Dude, we could win a national title and I’ll always expect the absolute craziest and shittiest thing to happen to us in a game. That’s what happens when you grow up being a fan of Ole Miss. The PTSD is forever

Oh I’m under 40 and have plenty of it.

Under 20 would probably be more accurate

We cut some branches off of the WAOM tree by winning the title in baseball. We need to win one in football and get to the Final 4 in basketball to truly kill it once and for all. Otherwise, it lays dormant, growing beneath the surface and always coming back stronger than before

If we run a play and it works, we will run it again until it gets stuffed at the line or for a loss. I think we need to mix it up more because that and the inevitable penalty gets us into bad situations. Nice to see Judkins have a great day.

Buddy, the only way you don’t have PTSD is if you were born when Lane got hired. Otherwise, shite is, has been, and will be fricked forever. We just gotta look for the light in the darkness.

You know what sucks. If FSU plays our schedule, they wouldn’t be close to a playoff team. They get rewarded when their toughest game is Duke outside of week 1. We played Alabama and LSU back to back, after playing a top 25 team, and a ACC team. On top of that, we played Auburn in Jordan Hare, and we still have Texas A&M, Georgia, and our rivals to go. It’s a ludicrous schedule, and means nothing in the eyes of CFB. Compare that to a team who got LSU early, and the next toughest game on the schedule is Duke.

They’re a good team, but they wouldn’t make it through our gauntlet. I don’t think they’d have as good of record as us with our schedule at this point.

The sec office has got to get moved out of Birmingham. It’s absolutely riddled with auburn and Alabama grads and it’s so obvious. The only game they call fair all season is Alabama auburn because it’s a 50/50 split down the middle. I’m so sick of them inserting themselves in our game every fricking week. I have no idea how it’s not in Nashville

I don’t think this Ole Miss team is anything special but it’s a pretty solid football team outside of having a really shitty punter. If Dart makes an accurate throw on the interception and we don’t muff the field goal attempt this game would have been over at halftime.
