Just posted a new thread below. We added a home and home with Pitt. That will cover our P4 requirements for 2026 & 2030.

Well said sir and agreed on all points.
Especially like "how far he's elevated us so we have fewer opportunities to pull off a major upset"
So from your standpoint I assume your signature win list under CLK is similar to mine and assuming Georgia is undefeated this year I would probably count or include a beat down of Georgia in Athens this year.

Yeah winning @UGA this year would be a signature win. But that's basically it. LSU and Oklahoma should be just about toss-ups.
Under Freeze, we'd have signature win possibility against UGA, LSU and probably Oklahoma this year.

Alabama weren’t champs in 2015
He also lost to LSU, Auburn, and State in 2014 that he had no business losing to at all.
In 2015 he lost to Florida, Memphis, and Arkansas.
Going back to his first year he lost games in the fourth quarter with leads to A&M, Vandy, and LSU
Freeze was a choke artist and turtle shelled in important games.
Lane is frustrating in his own ways but he accomplished what no other coach of ours has done so that by itself elevates him even though losing to Kentucky and Florida last year are stains on his resume.

Kiffin’s win over UGA last year was bigger than 2014 Bama IMO. It’s on par with and maybe a little better than Freeze’s 2015 win at Bama. Even though we were Bama’s only loss in 2015 and they won the natty, the win last year was more program transforming. It showed the good Freeze years weren’t a fluke and we can beat anyone

Yeah I messed a couple points up in my post along with losing to state in 14. That loss was 13 and the third loss in 14 was when we went to Arkansas and got drilled after Bo got hurt. Still my point stands Hugh was a fun ride sometimes but lost a lot of very winnable games

“what no other coach of ours has done so”
CJV may have something to say about that
1962 Undefeated Season: The 1962 Ole Miss team finished with a perfect 10-0 record, outscoring opponents 247-53, winning the SEC championship, and defeating Arkansas in the Sugar Bowl. This season is particularly significant as it is the program's only undefeated and untied season.
1959 and 1960 National Championship Teams: In the years surrounding the 1962 undefeated season, Ole Miss also had strong performances, including a 10-1 record in 1959 and a 10-0-1 record in 1960.

FYI
In February 2025, Weis Jr. won the SEC Graphite Award for being the conference's most efficient play-caller, an accolade determined by RII Sports Technology.

The fact you’ve got to go back to Vaught kinda proves the point when you have to go back to grand or great grandparents to actually have experienced.

There was no point. Was trying to poke DSJ. Who is Emilia Perez? And more
Importantly can she produce a reasonably competent offensive game plan.

He should win the Lead Award for most predictable and least innovative play calling.

If any of us were given Lane’s playbook in Madden format, we’d do a better job calling the plays. I don’t know why CWJ makes it seem so impossible at times.

I thought, for sure, we would see more short passes over the middle against Kentucky.

I forget. How much did Wright play at TE against Kentucky?

He played 55 snaps, which was the highest number out of the WRs and TEs.

OK cool. Was he not open some over the middle?
