I don’t like my State fan friends to feel any joy when it comes to football. Very disappointed that they pulled it out.

Yeah…. I was feeling more kind than usual last night. Them having anything to celebrate is annoying.

Ima laugh when they go 2-10 after this

They are improved but they still looked like complete arse cheeks

We just had a tough game earlier than last year so we didn't have an opportunity to overestimate our quality. Considering we have so many new starters, including the qb we lost during the game, i am pretty happy. We beat them across the board but those two int's let UK stay in the game. Those were bad. We actually started to run the ball effectively later when we got the qb running more.

I’ll be honest, I think the cowbells are going to eventually start being phased out by the SEC. If it ever gets that loud against Texas or one of the bigger programs like it did last night, I think there will be complaints put in by the right teams to finally have something done about it.

It makes zero sense why it’s still allowed

Unlike last year, we are trying to break in a new QB without any more warm-up games which is tough. We have the skill talent around Simmons (WR room is stacked) but he needs to get better, quickly, at reading the field and just making the easy throws.

Even on that big 4th and 1 play he made the wrong read. Had the WR over the middle wide open for a walk-in TD and forced a throw into tight coverage.

It’s cracking me up how every post I’ve seen on social media showing State fans carrying the goalpost is getting shite on by people saying “really? For Arizona State?”

They are treating that ASU win like a coke addict who tries a little crack for the first time after being sober 3-4 years

Simmons has got to cut out the INTs. Growing pains, I know, but he needs to make better decisions.

He comes out too hyped up and tries to do too much. When he settles down he is lethal

Simmons is going to be great. We have good QB coaching and will refine him.

Corral and Dart struggled with turnovers in their first seasons as starters. Hopefully Simmons gets better as the season goes on

If we don’t figure out the line it’s going to be a long season.

Should we start the other guy then bring Simmons in on the 2nd drive every game? It worked once.

I still think about Corral's 5 int game against Arkansas every now and then. Like I said earlier, he will learn and it's always better to learn those lessons in wins than losses.

You're correct. The 5 int game was the LSU game that same year.
