He had like 3 runs today that reminded me of his Freshman season. I think he's maybe had one other run all year.
I know it's frustrating that the line isn't opening holes....but you can't be an AA running back and go down on first contact every time and also dance in the backfield

The emotion is fair game. Im over it, just washed some dishes but youre comment is right on. lane is being paid more than enough at this point. No more “i need this if were going to win.” Dude is top 15 bordering top 10 paid coach in country right? He needs to start getting some wins to reflect that, and ive been a BIG Lane advocate for years.
Defense played competitive ball. Offense did too but as yall heard the commentary with as much as 7:00 minutes to go, the playcalls were arguably bizarre. That reverse play call where Dallas Turner just ate it right up? Phew!

I feel like the players were prepared. Especially on defense. Our offensive play calling let them down. Weiss Jr has to go. I don’t know how Kiffin keeps him around another year

That’s average. frick being average every year. Being ok with just 8-4 is why it’s taken us so long to actually progress as a program. Because forever it was just “Oh we made a bowl? Great year! We can’t ever hope to be Alabama or LSU so we should just focus on winning what we can and parting hard!”

I said I’d “take” 8-4 every single year. I didn’t say I wouldn’t like 9-3 or 10-2, but to absolutely expect that (which you are apparently insinuating) is stupid. I started to go with a more sophisticated word, but stupid just made sense.
