I hope he turns out to be good for us. To me, our OL play is going to be where the rubber meets the road. We were 9-3 this season because of our defense, and we were 9-3 because of our offensive line. If you know what I mean.

Yeah we definitely need to get better at run blocking. Judkins covered a lot of those issues 2 years ago and this year was even worse.

We just need a competent OL coach to coach them. Garrison has been a disaster and needs to be gone.

In 2022 we were top 3 in the nation in rushing despite Weiss Jr being our OC. When we hired Garrison that off season(brought Smith back also) NC state fans said our pass blocking would be solid but our run game would fall off a cliff. Sure enough, despite returning 4/5ths of our 22 O-line last year, and then again this year, the run game has been an abject disaster. Judkins helped mask a lot of it last year and I honestly understand his frustration. They can’t get a push to save their lives.
