I’d rather Miami than Bama or SC. I get that they’re frauds, but frick anyone else in this conference being happy.
I would rather the committee values the quality of competition you face. Because that would help SEC at large hopefuls in the future

I think Bama is last team in. Miami behind us. South Carolina behind us. Putting a SC with same record ahead of us, when we dominated them at their own place, will set a terrible precedent.

LSU and State fans will meltdown in epic fashion if we are ahead of South Carolina

Everyone keeps referencing Kentucky loss.. and as bad as it is we were 1 / 5, UK had to play 5x teams in the Top 15 (current Top 15). Apparently they were supposed to win them all or the majority of them.
Vandy and Oklahoma are 6-6. Bama was dominated by Oklahoma, we beat them by two scores. Bama narrowly escaped victory against Georgia and South Carolina. We dominated both of those schools by 3 scores.
LSU is 8-4 and UF is 7-5. LSU was lost to in OT at LSU. UF was on the up to end the year and we lost by 1 TD at The Swamp.
To me Bama and OM are a wash, and there is some argument they should have fallen behind us after their bad loss to OU. I’m not saying we deserve to be ahead, but what I am saying after listing the stuff above is, as has been said here today, the Bama bias is very, very real.
Forget the recruiting and portal. Things like Bama bias and UGA being gifted wins due to obvious rigged officiating, will be OM’s biggest hurdle in years to come.

I think we just need to keep reminding people that Bama bias is real and that the committee is not looking at things objectively they just see Bama.
Posted on 12/1/24 at 8:06 pm to Ancient Astronaut
It needs to be a campaign just like UGA’s campaign trying to act like they weren’t gifted a win. “ThEy HaD 8 OTs tO WiN?!?” Never should have gone to overtime and any non UGA fan knows that. Sorry but the officiating in that game was damn laughable. All these UGA fans in GA couldn’t look me in face for weeks, I didn’t rub in the arse kicking, but they’re all chirping now. frick that fanbase.

One loss Bama got in over undefeated FSU last year, I think everyone already knows this.

I have almost talked myself into believing we should be in if SMU beats Clemson
. No blowout losses means we won’t embarrass the committee like Bama could if they lay another egg. And we are the only team in the country besides UGA with 2 multi score wins over playoff contenders. The upside is there and even if we lose it will be heartbreakingly entertaining which is what the committee wants.
Having said that, Bama is totally getting the spot.

Kiffin is lobbying so hard for us on twitter
He needs to stop. Don't lose to shitty teams at home like Kentucky and we are in the playoff.

Doesn’t Kiffin get like $1 million if we make the playoff? I would be lobbying hard too
. Of course I also wouldn’t have let a nepo baby like Charlie Weis Jr cost me a guaranteed spot.

This. CLK fricked himself and us out of the playoffs. He has no one to blame but himself by letting this hanger on hang on.

This is a stupid take. He doesn't need to stop at all. He is doing exactly what he should be doing.
Do we deserve to be in? Probably not, but Alabama certainly doesn't and neither does South Carolina, Miami, Clemson, etc.

It's kind of wild how all 9 of our wins are double-digit wins and all 3 losses are 1 score games

Yeah he’s doing the right thing. It’s a PR contest at this point.

Alabama's arse raping by OU should have disqualified them from the CFP.

Listening to chase and Neal today.. they’re either scared to come out and say it for some reason I don’t know
But chase did post the theory , not his own, I even posted it on the day of the game, that Kiffin was trolling the fan base on the first series of the egg bowl running Micah Davis
Anyone with a functioning brain can see that’s exactly what happened.
1)From the Kerfuffle with Ben calling him out and then attending the presser as a follow up about Bentley
2) introducing Bentley as the starter so the fans could cheer
3) purposefully not starting Bentley and instead running Micah Davis up the middle for 4 of the first 5 plays
This is exactly what you do if you were trolling your own fans and giving them an “ frick you all. I’m smarter than you and here’s me swinging my dick “

I disagree. What purpose would that serve? He likely did it to back MSU off the run because that was the game plan, to run run run.

So why list Bentley as the starter to purposefully elicit a crowd reaction and then purposefully not start him and run his replacement that he caught a bunch of flack for using for the first 4 of 5 plays
I mean come on.. that’s just in your face

You can disagree about a decision without attributing malice to the decision maker. Again, what would be the purpose of "trolling the fanbase?"
This is some middle school level shite.

Why else would he announce Bentley as the starting RB and then start a WR at RB (again)?
