I definitely wouldn't want us to spend a ridiculous amount on him. I know Auburn has $600k in him. And Auburn experts will tell you he's two years away from SEC starting material or at least that's their opinion of him. No telling what happens in the next two years.

He has one of the highest upsides for a QB in this class. He’s got a big time arm and is a really good athlete. He needs to develop and if he can put on another 20 to 30 pounds of muscle watch out. He’s got a chance to be Cam Newton if he puts it all together. I trust Kiffin on evaluating and developing QBs more than almost any other coach.

My George Co. bros tell me Deuce is a very intelligent kid.

That’s all I got.

He's smart but Auburn peeps are right. He's not coming in next year and saving them. He's pretty green even as a senior QB. Think he has less than 20 HS starts at this point although he may have hit 20 this year.

No doubt. The QBs Lane has been after since he got to OM:

He was in on Dart and Cam Ward (before he went to Wash St.). Picked Dart

Simmons and Nico. Nico picked TN.

If he wants Knight, I trust him 100% with QB evals.

UT or UGA? What is best for us? UT wins and UGA is out; UGA wins and we have a beauty contest with the Vols and maybe UGA too.

I realize we beat UGA head-to-head, but we may lose a "beauty contest" to them. They're going to get the benefit of the doubt.

I want UGA to win out and look dominating. I want that win to look like the best or 2nd Best win in the country.

I think we are above TN in all scenarios if they lose to UGA. Unless it is like an OT game or something like that.

Yeah think UGA winning by like 30 is the best case scenario. Something like that I think wholly knocks out Tennessee and we should stay ahead of UGA no matter what.

The only issue with UGA winning is that there will be another 2 loss SEC team competing with us for a playoff spot. We may get a better look due to game control and losing close in regulation and the other in OT

The Kentucky game continues to sting.

That might be the nail in our coffin.

If only Harris had held onto that TD pass or Davis made the easy 30-something yarder in Baton Rouge . . .

Maybe, but they’ve been pretty bad outside of the Texas game.

Maybe I'm just skeptical.

I don't find it comforting going up against a mega-brand who has won two of the past three championships.

I disagree they dismantled Clemson and really should have won that Bama game. They were the better looking team.

I don't see a world where we are not in the college football playoffs if we win these next two weeks

Agreed.

FSU was left out last year because the committee didn’t think they’d win in the playoffs.

We’ve been talked up as the hottest team going. If we keep it up and dominate Florida and State we will be golden.

I hate to write this but I could see it happen with the possibility of a large amount of two loss teams. The committee could absolutely leave OM out and say that the two best wins are evened out by the losses, out of conference is laughable, and conference schedule is weaker than some others in SEC.

It would be 2 of the 3 of us UGA and TN. I don't see a reasonable scenario that we get left out in that situation.

Texas 11-1 (Maybe. They may drop below us with a loss)
Bama 10-2
UGA 10-2
OM 10-2

We definitely want Tennessee. A Georgia win does not remove either team from playoff contention.

A Tennessee win takes Georgia out of the picture. It also pretty much eliminates the possibility of LSU getting into the championship game, winning and stealing a bid.
