So on a day where I can watch football without having to worry about OM disappointing me, who are we rooting for?

I’m assuming:

Auburn over Missouri
State over A&M
Arkansas over LSU
Georgia over Texas (have to have a quality win somewhere to even have an outside shot so probably need Georgia ranked high as possible)

What are you looking for?

General mayhem? Just root for upsets.

A path to a 10-2 Ole Miss team getting in? Situations where only 1 ACC and 1 Big 12 team gets in (so a Clemson loss would be helpful, the good Big 12 teams loosing)

Mizzou, LSU, and A&M loosing too. Bama taking a second loss would be helpful.

Didn’t include that one since I think we need both teams to take another loss

We do, but I think Tennessee is more likely to drop another one later

whatever gives cfb the most chaos. I’ve pretty much resigned myself to the fact that this team will lose another game or two, so I’d prefer to see a chaos scenario like 2007. Zero undefeated, army/navy playoff decider, non traditional teams in the playoffs. Just give me whatever is the craziest. Hopefully without the same national champ tho

No thanks. Hope they lose 100-0 today.

Sidenote, if we lose to Oklahoma next week we should just cancel the rest of the season. They are getting demolished by South Carolina today.

That Kentucky loss is looking worse and worse as the season goes on.

We may not have to fake injuries against Georgia

These guys lay the wood every single
Play. Our offense that’s made of styrofoam may not survive

Not sure who all watched the UT/bama game and UT/UGA, but on key 4th downs Tennessee and uga brought the blitz and good things happened. Just thought I'd mention that in cause a member of our staff or a friend/acquaintance of a member of our staff might read this.

Who would’ve guessed a month ago that the Kiffin to UF rumors stopped completely because we lost 2 of 3 and Florida had won 3 of 4 (and had a good chance to be 4/4) lmao

And despite all the setbacks this team is somehow still ranked in the top 20 with Georgia coming to town in a few weeks. I have absolutely no faith that we will run the table, but I can’t remember the last time an Ole Miss team has been given so many second chances.

With how CFB is now, it wouldn’t shock me if we didn’t make the playoff this year but we make it one random arse year where we have a first or second year head coach who just catches lightening in a bottle

It’s been said but portal and nil has provided a bit more parity in cfb. I’d be willing to bet there is no one loss SEC team by seasons end.
