Josh Pate will be rooting for us. He loves that dude because of his name and the fact that he will be a 7th year senior. His first year in college was Matt Luke’s first year as our HC

Kam Beavers commits to Ole Miss.

If we can add Franklin and Waller this would be the best DLine class of all time for ole miss.

Beavers looks like a stud. That's about all I know about him. I hope it sticks.

if we could get all 4-5 defensive line man from MS at the top of the Class what a sweep and a dominant Defensive line for years.

Amazing work and hopefully this sticks.

we could have 70-80% in state this year and have a formidable roster

Kiffin going hard after in state guys now makes me feel better about him thinking this is a long term job. Up until this season he’s kind of been “meh” about recruiting Mississippi

I could definitely see some HS coaches/boosters not being happy about firing Luke and hiring Kiffin(just like the Mannings). Those people usually fit the GOB network bill. Maybe they're finally coming around to Kiffin.

I just think the Mississippi class this year is the deepest it’s been since that class with Nakobe Dean and Jerrion Ealy.
So might as well recruit where you already have connections.
Also having a Mississippi baw like Golding is working wonders for recruiting in state defensive players.

Jamarious Brown 4* class of '23.
Isaac Ukwu 4* transfer JMU.
Stephon Wynn 4* transfer Nebraska.
Kameron Beavers 4* class of '24.
Jeffery Rush 4* class of '24.

We need some linebackers for Pete Golding's 3-4.

I wanna keep signing these in-state DL/LB. Tha 'Sip has produced some good ones as of late but they always end up somewhere other than Oxford.

Suntarine Perkins is a good LB to build around.

Absolutely, but he is one lb. I guess the two edge guys from that class can be seen as olbs. I think Pete Golding is going to be successful. It all starts w/ the talent.

We are poised to do something special in recruiting, but the OM fan in me tells me State will steal somebody unexplained out of the blue and/or the combo of Alabama, Georgia and Auburn will F things up. I hope I’m wrong.

We won't know just how good these guys will be until a few games into the season but just getting more bodies in the building should be a massive improvement on that defense from last season.

Matter of when and not if.

We probably lead for Waller but it will go down to the wire. Georgia and Auburn are right beneath us. Waller himself likes Ole Miss but he has some bad (for us) influences around him.

I wouldn't put too much emphasis on a lot of our class being in-state prospects this year. We just like this class better than previous ones. There were really only two prospects in-state that we wanted last year and missed out on (Dowdell, Kelley Jones)
