JJ Harrell - 4* WR from North Panola is currently committed to Tennessee but said this morning his recruitment is "open". Definitely a flip candidate for us.

Keon Coleman (Michigan State WR) is visiting campus tomorrow. Basically everyone in the country is recruiting him.

Which means we won't get him despite names like Brown, Metcalf, Knox, Moore, Mingo and on and on and on.

Sounds like that Noreel guy. Committed but 100% open and eliciting further recruitment. Are they chasing a Bama/Georgia offer or simply more $$$?

It would be awesome to get him but I don’t think we have the QB or type of offense that would attract him. We are a HEAVY run team

We had two receivers in the top 6 in receiving yards in the SEC last year and we have to replace them both. Certainly some opportunity.

Sounds like he's high on Ole Miss according to our insiders...

So knowing our insiders he's 100% going somewhere else.

Sure if we give him several $100,000 to come he probably is high on the Rebs

This pay for play shite is exhausting and every day I get more and more sick of it all

^^^ Ditto! Speaking of which, did we pay Chris Marshall a significant sum you think only for him to get kicked off the team and keep money? If so, this is all ultra bullshite.

Given his history with the Aggies.. I would hope his NIL deal was contingent on him not being a shitehead and getting suspended/kicked off .. sure he probably got a nice signing bonus to tide him on to and through the season.

But I don’t know. It’s all just so dumb now.

Why do I still feel like we are still solidly in the same funk we ended last season even though we just made our head coach one of the highest paid in all of the land?

I’m in this camp . Honestly because although we are paying Kiffin a lot.. we don’t really have much to show for it. We didn’t beat anyone that that was good last year (aside from Troy)… we got smoked in the bowl game .

I’m excited for football season but with this schedule , we have some L’s coming again it appears

I could just be rambling but Like the program looks sexy under an Instagram filter with Kiffin being snarky and the social media teams putting out graphics but take the filters all off and we are just an okay team who really turtled up several times last season

Last year was definitely frustrating, but I keep trying to remind myself that if Kiffin left today he'd be leaving us in a better position then when he took over

Heck, I can’t imagine him leaving now with that fat contract. And I think he’s still pretty highly regarded but that end to last season most definitely hurt his stock a bit.
