Our defense will just be 40 new players at this point.
ETA: it's sounds like the Louisville LB and Alabama LB will both commit to us though. So between them two and Suntarine I suspect he was afraid he'd lose playtime

This works out well for everyone
Let Howard come in and watch and learn the system
Let dart and sanders potentially battle for the starting job , pay sanders to keep him as a seasons backup in case dart is injured and that allows us to not toss Howard off into the deep end .

Sanders looked pretty underwhelming in those last few OSU games I saw. Have to think Lane will get the best out of it. Listening to BR radio the host said that watching the behind the scenes Ole Miss show on YouTube that he got the feeling Lane didn't really care for Dart. Do you think any of that is true?

At best (for Dart), Lane wants some competition for QB1 spot
At worst, Lane has seen enough of him and wants a new starter
