Nix to me is just a by product of never being able to pull a RB. But I'm not upset if he stays.
Peeler is a strong recruiter. I like Bicknell.
I have no idea how Harris has kept his job this long.
Roach and the DL sucked this year.
Sumrall and the LBs seemed to show improvement as the season progressed.
I dont really know bout the secondary. They were so beat up all year it was hard to tell just how good or bad they were.

I agree with most of that but overall Nix has done a pretty good job of getting overlooked guys who contributed back there like Judd and Phillips. He of all the current coaches can make an argument to stay although I certainly sympathize with clearing the deck.

Here's the problem - as long as lame duck Luke is staying, top tier assistants aren't coming to Ole Miss. Why would someone in demand come to a place where the staff is likely to get fired in a year?
So we'll be stuck picking through scraps. Saw how well that worked out with McGriff and Longo.

Or we could hire a big name and promise him the job after Luke gets canned. That way he could help out by constantly undermining Luke.

Look at what LSU had to pay to hide Orgeron's faults...
We ALL know O ain't shite for a coach... So we either pay out the arse to get good quality assistant coaches in here OR we suck till Luke gets a boot in the arse..

I agree. Everyone talks about how much he loves ole miss. If he truly loved the school he would do us all a favor.

Om spirit is reporting all other coaches were in the all staff meeting today where they went over recruiting plans for the coming weeks. Implied this likely means McGriff was the only staff change being made. Said there’s a chance Longo gets a head coaching job maybe at North texas but if not he’s back.

If Luke is still employed then I'd rather stand pat with our coaching staff and go all-in on being horrible instead of having to give guaranteed multi-year contracts to other mediocre assistants only to still be really bad.

Not only am I going to not renew tickets next season, I will buy Memphis Tigers season tickets and I'll be rooting like hell for them in the first game. If you knew me, you would know how big of a switch this is. frick it. I am completely done until they clean house AND start winning. At this point, even if they fire Luke, they better make a damn good hire.
I may just become a fan of wherever Hugh Freeze finally lands a HC gig.

Yeah I'll be doing something else with my FB season ticket money for 2019... we will be much much worse and I have no interest supporting the program until changes are made
