Georgia had won their previous 73 games when leading going into the 4th quarter. Last such loss was the 2018 SEC Championship game to Alabama.

HJJ I won’t lie lots of UGA folks were texting me and I was saying not over. Once I saw they recovered I then felt a DPI would have been 50/50 basically.. and then Branch or Colbie Young would make some leaping grab in triple coverage. It seemed like everything called in the end there was by the rule book, but boy it sure felt like Disney was trying to find anything and everything to get UGA the win.

I had just moved to Austin before the start of the 2005 season. Vince Young in that 4th Quarter...
His demeanor after scoring on that 4th and 5, still clutching the ball while that whole place came unglued, was like he was so determined to win that he had exited our plane of existence. I've never seen anything like that before or since.
