Anyway, it’s been awesome seeing all the LSU fans cope saying HS doesn’t matter and they’re saving money for Lane to hit the portal, after screaming from the mountains that high school recruiting was why Lane came to begin with and how they’d dominate it with him there.

Wasn’t his HS coach a big state guy and basically steered him towards them/wouldn’t let us talk to him? We would’ve had the top 3(!!) players in the entire country sign with us. Unheard of.
Either way, i 100% believe we win a national championship in 2014 if we had signed him. Maybe 2015 too.

This was one of the primary reasons we even got a shot that pissed Jones off and he contacted us. When I got the phone call that he was coming on that big recruiting weekend with Laquon and the gang I didn't believe it at all even coming from our main recruiting person because he had been committed to state for damn near a year at that point. He privately committed that weekend then swapped back to State early NSD.

Ironically I don't think we had the offense to win it because Bo turned the ball over so many damn times in the worst way possible.

Want to give a guess as to how many total turnovers he had during the three years he started here? That's including fumbles lost and interceptions.

Wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if it’s above 25 
Feels like he had at least 10 his first year here. And then of course the 13 EB fumble. But the one that still haunts me to this day is the pick in red stick. fricking hated freeze for even allowing him to go on the field. Kick the fg and win it in overtime.
