That would absolutely be worth it. A successful football program generates an incredible amount of revenue for the University and Oxford.

I do hope Keith is able to announce a new contract soon so we don't have a repeat of the Auburn nonsense that seemed to have sucked the life out of the team and fans.

I have a feeling something will be announced within a week or two. If we beat Oklahoma I bet we have an extension announced and signed next Sunday. It would be weird to announce an extension after a loss regardless of who it was against.

If he did leave, everything he has said over the past 2-3 years would be complete and utter bullshite. So, he would be labeled a liar and it would reinforce every bad image that he has tried to fight.
Like I said earlier in the week, I just want this to not end like 2022. We have a great chance to go places this season.

By that point, our season will be hosed because the rumors will affect the locker room. It's hard to get players to commit to you and play their hardest when you can't commit to them. This needs to be done in the next week or so.

I get the concept behind not wanting to talk about things like that, and even though he's borderline on the spectrum, he absolutely knows how it impacts the team and fanbase. If nothing happens in the next two weeks, I'm just gonna assume he's gonna leave.

Yeah if we win next weekend and nothing is announced, I’m assuming he’s gone unless we make the playoff. Florida couldn’t wait that long to announce him I don’t think

The outlier here is Sexton, who very well could have a gag agreement in place with Kiffin during negotiating periods, and who could also tell Kiffin to stay silent until the end of the season to see what jobs open and try to profit in a bidding war between multiple schools. If Kiffin stays silent, then frick him. But we all have to remember that Kiffin is Sexton's new big payday.
