That was 100% a joke about only getting the job because Kiffin turned it down for what it's worth.
basically his way of saying that he knew Gator fans wanted kiffin but we got him instead

fricking NO. Go hire an actual d-line coach.
His only experience is being an assistant linebackers coach.

These type of “ONE OF US” hires are what fricks a program

You act like we had a better option, or another option at all. We did not and considering the circumstances this was the best outcome.

Same shite was said when Matt Luke was hired. And dipshits believed that too

The similarities continue to pile up

Not here Henry

We hated Matt Luke here because he sucked as Oline before he became HC

Considering Lane's rap sheet when we hired him, this ain't so bad...

I'm not tracking on the Pete Golding to Matt Luke comparisons.

Luke coached under Cutcliffe/Ed O/Freeze
Golding coached under Saban & Kiffin

I see no reason to draw conclusions that Pete will find the same results as Matt.

Matt Luke had been a career OL coach.

Pete Golding has been a DC for 8 years under Saban and Lane.

Quite the difference.

Yes

If dude can win a few playoff games and hire clear upgrades on offensive staff while avoiding any players transferring to LSU, then I will settle down.

Until then, he’s a disaster hire

He doesn't understand the concept of damage control. We will likely end up with a great coach in a year or two. Either that is Golding or someone new. We aren't making budget hires on assistants anymore which is where the real wins come in to play. And honestly, having a new DC may be good for us considering how I hate our bend and break D.

Watching the Iron Bowl was obviously frustrating because Auburn’s receivers couldn’t catch a pass for the life of them, but it was nice seeing a D pin their ears back and send the house. I feel like we haven’t done that a single time in years.

He will wrap up this meltdown around the end of February and pivot to something Beard did he did not like in basketball. He will finish off the season with his annual melts over Bianco.

Did you sleep through last year. Our d-line wreaked havoc, Kiffin/Weis play-calling lost games.
