Here’s where I’m at.
Bama wins Lane is announced as gone. Auburn wins it’s announced he will be staying to coach the title game. What else is there to discuss at the 11th hour here? You have to believe a decision has been made, and if there was an extension, we’d have already heard by now. Isn’t this the obvious reality right now? Like I’m genuinely asking..

So if your only job was to make that happen right now under the current circumstance then what would you do?
My short answer to this question is to delay the decision, because I think LSU will explode and go away. We can deal with the fallout as we go to the SEC championship game? The playoff game? Time. Whatever.

The ADs job is to ensure that that athletic department is in the best position possible. Part of that, in my opinion, is ensuring no one person is bigger than Ole Miss.
We cannot be in a position where we are suddenly without a coach on January 1 right before the portal opens, unless we are comfortable with Joe Judge or someone else internal getting the full-time job. Which maybe KC is and we arent aware of.

The big problem for KC is if he suspends kiffin and we lose everyone says it's because he suspended kiffin and didn't let him coach
If he doesn't suspend him and we lose then people will say it's because he didn't suspend him and it was a distraction

With all due respect, there is no LSU to go to on January 1. Unless LSU is willing to wait, which they are not.That means Lane is our coach and is doing everything that needs to be done on January 1.

That game is over. Auburn cannot move the ball. I think it gets super ugly. Just wish Carter would release the statement already.
