They've cancelled it due to protesters I'll talk more about it when I get home

just give me the short version when you can. I am seeing some on twitter but it is mainly just ole miss fans bad about it. I don’t see why the hire was bad because I am not close to the situation

I’m not as worried about the chancellor hire as I am AD and HC. Does anyone know the guy and know if he is pissed about the Luke shite or is he just being going to put us back in the same situation?

not faux. i am actually confused by what is going on. I dont like the direction ole miss has taken as much as the next guy. It hurts the state I live in and in the long run hurts the school I am a fan of

It won't change anything really. These protests are sound and fury signifying nothing. If they convince him to back out which is unlikely, the next guy would be just like him.

I avoided all that and after the Braves lost I went and saw the Joker. The movie was less bleak than our future

They hired a guy to look into what people were looking for in a new chancellor.
They interviewed all the candidates, then they decided to offer the job to the guy that they hired to help them find a chancellor. He hadn't even applied for the job.

The protesters walked in a couple minutes before the press conference was supposed to start. They only let a couple of the protesters in before they closed the doors and locked a large group outside. They chanted "Open the Doors" for the outside protesters as well as "Glenn Boyce is not our choice" and "IHL what the hell". The protesters were gathered right in front of where the IHL members were supposed to sit (they never came in). Ed Meek was supper pissed about the protesters, the supporters tried to do a Hotty Toddy chant but were quickly out-chanted by the protesters. I didn't have a great angle on it but one of the girls protesting was thrown out (literally) by a cop. Then shortly after they cancelled, I left but based on the videos I'm seeing I'm pretty sure they're still protesting at the Inn right now.
