The way this was handled ruins the hire itself. I don't care if he is amazing. What makes me not want him is how shady this was done.

They need to kick the children and their enablers off campus. Maybe they will leave Oxford. I'm sick of the crybabies crap. Since when should kids and perpetually aggrieved faculty members get to decide who the chancellor is? They will be gone in a few years. This is bigger and more important than of their hurt feelings.

And if it turns out that Boyce is an administrative genius, because of the way this was done, he'd going to have to waste his first year our two just getting everyone to believe he isn't a shill himself. It was a stupid way to do this.
