Nah-he’s on the hot seat now. Don’t fire him, but if this happens again, he’s gone.
This was the best group of talent to ever grace Swayze Field, and we blew it (I thought in 2014, and still think today, that our run was a fluke).
Did these guys not get their asses chewed for fricking up at the plate after last night (despite the runs-we were still swinging at a lot of shite last night)?
Did they not get an arse chewing after the first game today?
Did they not watch any game film of TTU’s pitchers or at least get briefed on them?
What the hell happened at the plate?
It almost makes me think that we were coasting on talent alone for a lot of the season, with little input from the coaches, which pisses me off even more because with a little coaching TTU should have been little more than a hard bump in the road.

On the hot seat. Good gosh. Chill people. We definitely blew it, but this happens every year somewhere. Yes, we choked. Still, you don't run off your coach after the season we've ha
I’m very much a believer in giving coaches slack especially how Bianco has built our program, but I mean shite nothing matters but the post season. I’d rather sneak into post season and get to Omaha than set a win record an lose in my regional. If Florida loses tonight not one of their fans will care that they won the regular season SEC title just like none of us care that we won the sec tourney and 48 games. It’s all about how you finish.

Yea, I felt very dissatisfied leaving the bases loaded with only 1 out just to watch us fold again where it mattered.

Henderson’s dumb fricking arse just took a bad State team to a super, so what’s Bianco’s excuse? We’ve had damn near two decades to see something, and we’ve had a lot of good teams over that stretch, and we have one CWS appearance to show for it. Left field and right field deserve more. Hell, the stadium fans who actually show up deserve more. We shouldn’t be a constant topic of conversation as a program who just can’t do it, and we just can’t do it right now

Not to double post, but I think it’d be funny as shite if we hired McDonnell before State could, and I’d be happy hiring Godwin. I want to see something different after this season though. This was a damn good team, and it honestly should’ve lost yesterday to TN Tech. I don’t understand why their starting pitching was so much better than ours, and I won’t forgive our utter lack of offense

The way we hit tonight from patience, to approach, whatever the hell you wanna call it reminded me of the entire 2017 season.

That’s not an excuse

We need to grab Henderson.
He did the impossible. At an opposing field.

Our offensive approach today was horrendous. That’s on coaching. If you had told me tech would score 3 runs tonight I’d say we win by 5+. This is the biggest choke job I’ve seen from our baseball program and we’ve had plenty of those.
^^^^
All of this right here. Every word of it.

Could someone enlighten me on what exactly Bianco could have done better? Guys couldn't hit a RF pitching at home. How the hell is that coaching?
The truth is the team just played horrible. Adjustments were made, moves were made. He saved pitching for the last game. The players were just trash.

They should have been more patient at the plate. Some of that is coaching you’ve got to agree. Aside from that, it wasn’t the coaching yesterday.

Jesus christ Bianco is a hell of a coach. You guys are nuts.

He is a good, not great coach. A great coach would be able to identify and hire a good hitting coach....because the lack of plate discipline is what lost this Regional. It was pathetic that our team couldn’t adjust at the plate and got shut down by a fricking position player!

fricking position player!

Bianco also needs to hire a good pitching coach. What other SEC team's head coach makes all the mound visits like he does? I can only assume he's the main pitching coach. He needs help there, too. It's not a knock on him.

Bianco is the Mark Richt of SEC baseball.
We need someone to take us to the next level, consistently.

Mark Richt would be the best analogy if Bianco would have accomplished more
At the end of the day, the man is responsible for modern Ole Miss baseball, and we’ve had some good to great to elite teams over his EIGHTEEN season tenure, and he had a chance to do something really special this season, or at least make it out of our own regional. Instead, a Russell Athletics team from Cookeville fricking Tennessee came into our house and waxed us. Their starting pitching was much better than ours, their bats obviously were too, and a team that I thought was much more talented than the 2014 squad got demolished at home. If TN Tech hadn’t gifted us all those runs late on Sunday, they would’ve beaten us then too. They were a much better team than us this weekend, and I just don’t think Bianco is the guy anymore. No one is really all that surprised about what happened, even though we were a consensus top 5 squad for most of the season, and I think that means it’s time for a change. We should have been able to get out of a regional with this squad, and it’s nothing short of pathetic that we didn’t.
I really like Bianco and have caped for him for years, but it’s been 18 years and we’ve gotten out of a super exactly once. We’ll never be the baseball program we pretend to be if 2014 is a lone high water mark
