Am I the only one that is nervous about Liberty this year?

There's only two scenarios I see playing out in this situation. We come in to the Liberty game on a roll fresh off a win on the Plains and on a winning streak, then Malik and Hugh come in and absolutely bend our defense over, and we have one of those 2012 A&M-Manziel games where we legitimately couldn't tackle/stop the kid. Or we have a shitter of a season to that point and then wipe the floor with them. Don't think there's any other option.
TL;DR: we either lose to them in heartbreaking fashion in a 2015 Arkansas situation or we beat the shite out of them.
PS The Manziel era A&M games were some of the most frustrating things I have ever witnessed and as an Ole Miss fan I have seen my fair share. the 2012 game where we were winning by 10 in the fourth is up there with the all time WAOM moments.

Nope. I feel like we will be 8-1 or some shite like that, having a ridiculous season then lose to them.
It will suck but I'll be happy for Freeze and hopefully once Lane moves on to a bigger program, Keith will tell the Karens in our fanbase to get on board or frick off and hire him back.

you say that with confidence unbecoming of an ole miss fan. I have no such faith until I see that happen. until then visions of Malik Willis amassing 600 yards of total offense himself will haunt me

I feel I should clarify this. If I had to choose between having Freeze or Lane forever, obviously I'd pick Lane.

I'm nervous. I can definitely see us losing this game and it being Willis' career highlight game. I hope I'm wrong.

There's a game every year that I feel like we'll frick up immensely and we never fail to prove me right. Liberty is this year's Memphis.

If we lose to Liberty then either this is a much bigger rebuild than I thought, or Corral didn't play.

I feel like I say this every year around this time.
If we drop the game to Liberty then we aren’t good enough to where it should really matter anyway.

Don't get me wrong, Liberty is a solid G5 team who returns a lot of players but we are more talented across the board.

Every single defensive player we have on our roster would start at Liberty. Same with offense. And we have a better coach.
Game will be hyped but Kiffin isn’t going to overlook this one.

Man I realize that being an Ole Miss fan is hard on your emotional health. I share that burden. But you need to consider seeing someone about this.

I never said we would be 2-6??? I just said this is the only scenario I could see us losing to Liberty which is highly unlikely. Take a chill pill dude

You're not alone. Liberty has a lot of offensive firepower. I trust Lane to win in a shootout, but you can never be too sure.
