Depends on when, once a week.
Right before making my Subway sammich on a Saturday night......no issue.

i got no problem with the cannabis, but like heavy drinking, you need to be done with it around the time that you're ready to get into the real world with a big boy life.

Yeah pretty much this. Once you have like kids and shite, unless it's like just a hit right before you go to bed, why? You need to be like... doing responsible things with your life.

Meh, everyone handles it differently. One of my best friends is pretty much high all day, everyday. He has 3 kids and is a great parent. I seriously don't think he could function without the weed. I don't think it's that much different than all the moms out there on Prozac.
I've been high around my kids exactly twice, and it was miserable. Mostly because they wouldn't shut up and let me enjoy my high.

When it (eventually) becomes legal in all 50 states I doubt it will still be a big deal. It'll be fine if you come home and smoke a joint after a long day of work, just like having a beer. However if you smoke so much you lose your motivation and don't go to work or do anything productive, then there is a problem.

Absolutely fine with it. I know many, many professionals that smoke quite a bit of pot along with other party drugs from time to time and they are perfectly responsible with the "grown up" things in life. Marijuana is demonized mostly because many are told it's bad and they just go along with it. I'm not some militant pot supporter, but I hope TN takes a hard look at legalizing it. We are missing out on a lot of revenue.

There are plenty of people who can function well after smoking one joint. I wouldn't smoke it in front of kids, but then again I wouldn't smoke a cigarette or a cigar in front of kids either.

If a joint gets you too high, then just pack a bowl and take just a hit or two. Problem solved.

Depends on the beer. I have some 12% ABV beers in my fridge. One of them gets me pretty buzzed.

How drunk we talking, and how big of a deal is it? Sure if a parent is getting pass out drunk every night, that's a problem. One or two beers, or glasses of wine, and getting a slight buzz, I don't see the problem so long as you don't put the kids in the car and drive anywhere.

Don't have kids and do whatever the frick you want, whenever the frick you want. Problem solved.
About once or twice a week I'll take it easy in the evenings, sip a little weed, drink some bourbon and listen to a few records.
