hell I do it more than once a week and I'm a "high earner" or whatever the kids call folks who make good money these days.

but I'm also 27 with pretty much no responsibilities.

so I don't think it's a bad thing at all. I have one of those jobs that can keep you awake at night. I wake up thinking about work; I think about work in the shower; I think about work at dinner..etc

so a good toke, as Katt Williams says, puts a little frick-it in my system. Stress is the number 1 killer, so I thoroughly enjoy my stress free times with a lil' herb.

i don't view that as a good point for the pro-legalize crowd.

The only salient point in legalization is self-ownership. Nothing else really matters.

It's a mood-altering drug with profound effects on serotonin reuptake. It's quite mild with no longterm effects when used sporadically. When used daily (abused), it can have deep effects on sleep, appetite, motivation, daily mood.

Of course it varies from person to person. It's just unfortunate that the "reefer madness" "gateway drug" bullshite, has spawned an equally untrue reactionary narrative - the "totally harmless" one.

If I was hiring for my dept and I had an applicant who admitted to this, they would not be hired.

hell I hope not

who admits to smoking weed in a job interview? I wouldn't hire them because I'd feel they were too dumb to do the job.

Not sure I do either. I was just trying to paint a picture of the guy. He's pretty brilliant at this profession(graphic design) and most would never guess he was high if you were around him. Very high energy and outgoing. Complete opposite of the stoner stereotype.

He ran a marathon high a couple of years ago.

well that's fine I guess

Farming is one job I think I'd have to be stoned to do. No offense. I'm just a city slicker.

Sometimes you have no choice. What if you lie about not smoking and there turns out to be a drug test? You're fricked.

I mean, you'll be fricked regardless. Might as well take the chance for no test and just lie.

It's de facto legal in CA. Walk down Venice Beach, there are docs selling scripts right next to dispensaries
