I shoveled sh*t for a living for awhile. so that would appear to others to be the worst job I ever had but after awhile you got used to it and at least you got outdoors.
As for worst working conditions, usually doing jobs for the really wealthy were often the least fulfilling as a person.

I worked at Chuck E Cheese for 1 day when I was 16. Worst day of my life.

I guess I've been lucky to not have any truly bad ones. In HS I worked at a "market research firm" where I sat in a cubicle and called old people to take surveys about their insurance. It sucked but at least it was comfortable and inside and easy as hell. Worked some outside/construction type jobs which certainly weren't as easy or fun but it kept me busy and paid alright.
Can't say I've had a job that I walked out on after a week or made me really hate life.

Auto insurance claims adjuster. Job wasn't that bad, but the corporate culture was just so demoralizing and toxic. Hated every minute of it, but it paid for part of my school at the time.

Were you really checking who's liver you could have?

My last one (not the one I'm in). Good pay & benefits but had a lot of self-inflicted made-up stress. I worked directly for the President and he was the most appropriately named person ever.....first name was Dick.

I thought landscaping during college sucked until I started working 7-5 in an office all day

Once worked for a credit card collection agency in college. The training lasted three weeks and I was in the job for less than three months. Easily the most soul crushing depressing job I've ever had. My broke arse calling a bunch of other broke asses demanding they pay money they didn't have. You either got a sad life story or someone who was reasonably pissed off to talk to you.

I worked for a check collection company in college. It sucked, but the level of the trim working there made it worth it.
The worst was a bartending job in college. The guy that owned the bar offered me a bunch of money to leave the bartending job I was at to come work for him and help manage the bar. Then he morphed into the biggest a-hole I ever met. Like getting shite housed and screaming at me while I was bartending in front of bar patrons for no reason, including my friends, who were there just because of me. I quit after about 6 weeks. The bar went under shortly after that.
Revenge was nice. It was cold, and a few years later, but very nice.

In college I waited tables on the weekends and kitchen during the week for a while. I worked the appetizer and salad section. I really hated that. The hours were especially horrible in the kitchen if you had to close.
My favorite summer job was working maintenance for a local apartment complex. Met some cool arse baws. I was by 30 years the youngest and they let me know it.

I did that one summer on the management company's painting crew. Interesting summer, to say the least.

Worst maybe toughest one was Casualty Notification Officer (CNO) duty in the Army, on two occasions.
It sucks to be the one to tell a family that their loved one is not coming home from (insert place). As a compassionate man, it really tugs at your heart, but is one that has to be done and done with honor. I just hope if it happens to me that the CNO would show my family the same compassion.

I was going to say being a summer counselor for a retard camp, but I got my first BJ there so it was awesome. It wasn't from a camper FYI.
