Just curious as to what people do for a living. It's always interesting to hear of the different ways people live their day to day. And do you like your job?

That's interesting. What does a "chemist" do on a daily basis? Did you work for a company?

I used to work in a iron pipe fitting foundry. I didn't have to do manual labor, but that job still sucked.

I run a VC firm I started after cashing out of my first business that began when I was still at Ole Miss. I have a few passion projects I run too, including a brick and mortar retail store.

Everything to do with pipe sucks. I've been in the business for 20 years. But that's all chemical plants, power houses, factories, etc.are made of. I help make the world go round! Yaayyyyy! No it still fricking sucks.

I am a semi retired flatologist operating an aging methane gas factory.

I had hoped someday to win an Ig Nobel Prize in Medicine but was beaten to the punch by Alan Klingerman in 1991.

That foundry sounds like it gave you plenty of skills. You should have stayed.

I got my skills and left after 4 years. I work in a nice climate controlled environment with six 50 inch tvs on the wall.
