I'm in Illinois working at the moment..there are plenty of windmills. I've seen them plenty of times not doing shite but sitting there. The locals say they are worthless and they never seen a drop in their power bills as promised. If it weren't for the nuke down the road they couldn't keep up with demand.not even close. Huge costs with little if any payoff....Now thats what the locals say, I dont know and really don't care. If they say they are shite, I tend to believe them. Just sharing my experience.

With modern machinery on the horizon I doubt it was as big an issue as made out to be. I think it had more to do with not liking being told what to do by a bunch of northerners.

Started my TD account while in Amherst Ohio, sandstone capital of the nation. My hometown of Camden S.C. is the oldest inland city in S.C. and is the steeplechase capital of the world. There is some background to work with, buddy. TThanks!
