Is "free range" chicken really free?

In the old days you grazed beef on open range with no cost so it really was free. However, somebody has to pay for the land chicken graze on. Even if the bank has been paid off, the property taxes still have to be paid so it is not really "free" land like beef used to graze on.

Picturing an old fashioned 1800's cattle drive replaced with a 2000's chicken drive.

An Octagon has 8 sides and an Octopus has 8 legs.

October used to be the 8th month. January and February were created adding 2 months to the head of the calendar. Caesar Augustus and Julius Caesar had months carved our for them; July and August, respectively, which pushed October into the 10th slot.

January - Named for Janus the three-faced, looking to the past, the present, and the future.

February - februum which means purification was a ceremony traditionally held on the 15th of February

March - Named for Mars

April - unknown but thought to be from the Latin "to open"

May - Named for Maia, fertility goddess

June - Named for Juno, goddess of marriage

July - Named for Julius Caesar, his birth month

August - Named for Augustus, several of his major triumphs occurred during the 6th month

September - Latin for 7

October - Latin for 8

November - Latin for 9

December - Latin for 10

Roman calendar was 10 months originally.

Sand is more in reference to size than composition.

Dust is smaller than sand
Sand is smaller than gravel
Gravel is smaller than boulders

Most sand is not on beaches (Sea and Land) but in the arid interiors of continents like the Sahara or Gobi.

Thanks for the pics tho. Funny, but sad we are becoming a stoner society. It is one thing to light up now and again but different to become a non stop doper who never gets off the couch.
