Sad to see this. Aside from the academies, aTm and LSU commissioned the most officers during WW2.

6 of the top 7 are the 6 senior military colleges in the US. Somehow Penn State snuck in front of North Georgia for that 6th spot in the list.

Both A&M and LSU commissioned more than the service academies during WWII. A&M was nearly double what Army and Navy commissioned combined with a staggering 14,123 commissions. LSU was second with just over 5,000 commissions.

Yes we do. In fact, General Sherman is the only former president not to have a building named after him. I wonder why that is. LOL
