Texas as a state does, generally. Austin doesn’t. University of Texas and crowds of California refugees make it a commie anti American stronghold. When the US army shitcanned the West Point graduate for being a communist, the University of Texas at Austin immediately hired the POS.

I can only speak for Army ROTC, but 6th AROTC BDE (La, MS, AL, GA, FL and PR) basically meets the Army ROTC commissioning reqs on its own.
Florida schools are always well beyond commissioning goals, as are AU and Bama. Ole Miss and Miss St essentially are the primary commissioning sources for MS NG. And, apart from senior military colleges and large schools, GA Southern is a huge producer of Army LTs.
In core SEC country, it just means more.
