I feel lucky to live by such a great establishment. Saws is quickly becoming one of the faces of Birmingham with its reputation of having outstanding food.
This is great publicity for Birmingham and clearly a sign among many that the city is on the upswing.

I've been a bunch of times. I'm not really laughing at Birmimgham so much as the notion that having Paula Deen's favorite BBQ joint is a "clear sign" that a city is on the upswing.

It was honestly just a cheap joke. I have no real ill will towards Paula Deen other than her voice annoys me and she uses a shite ton of butter.
