This was in Eufaula, Al at the Fountain downtown!
this is running water out of it too!

One from work today..fricking seine crew caught the gas tank on fire and burned up the seine nets, and sunk the boat in the ice.

If it ends up ruining the motor there goes 10k down the drain

I saw you put this on FB earlier and wondered, wtf is a "seine crew"? I don't even know how to pronounce it

5 guys who harvest fish out of our ponds. When you harvest a pond it's called seining it. It's pronounced "sane"

we used to seine in creeks this way.

rarely caught anything worth eating but good for bait fish.

Yea we catfish farm commercially (about 6,000 acres of ponds). We can harvest up to 150,000 pounds of fish in a 10 acre pond.

They are seined by dragging a net down the pond with 2 tractors and a boat pushing it in the middle, then the fish are corralled into a holding net at the end and loaded onto a live haul truck and sent to the processing plant.

Purse seiners do the same with salmon, you're just using boats. It's fun to watch the skiff work.
