I haven't taken the time to read the whole thread, and I'm sure it's been posted - but the people who fought and died for our freedom did so in order that we would be able to treat the flag and anthem any way we want.

I just don't understand why the 1st Anendment is the chosen buzzword for issues like this as if people are disputing players have the right to protest, or any other group for that matter.

I'm just sick of it all because politics have infiltrated my entertainment.
I don't care to know any football players political leanings. I respect everyone's different views because we all have different life experiences. Just don't bring it up when I want to see the Saints kick the Panthers arse.
