Sorry, but you're wrong. Right or wrong, people are looked down on and denied things because of their tattoos 1000s of times a day. I'm not saying a person with a tattoo is bad, only that at a time in their lives, they made a really dumb decision.

That's why you get something you know you'll always take pride in. Such as Patriotism. If you go to a quality tattoo artist and get touch ups as you age it won't change.

If you're going to do it, do it right. Make sure the guy is great at his job. I don't have tattoos, but my BIL has spent thousands on them and most of them are really bad.

That's not a military graveyard in your pic, btw. It's just a Halloween scene.

Again you're wrong. Your post wasn't a "joke". It was an attempt to scold anyone who speaks negatively about tattoos. As I said, I'm not judging any individual with a tattoo, only that if a person that doesn't know you, sees it, they'll automatically form an opinion (human nature)....and it's much more apt to be negative than positive....now if you don't care if that's gonna happen, then that's up to you.

Nah, it was clearly a joke. He was poking fun at a certain group of people by imitating them

How about a wheat field ala amber waves of grain. I'm covered in tattoos and the best advice i can give you is to get with the artist and discuss it, oh whoever did that piece in your link is a very very good artist.

Yep, I get judged all the time, but I just walk on by and keep doing my thing. I own my my house, truck, motorcycle, and make an upper middle class living. No i'm not offended, just pointing out my facts, not everyone with lots of tattoos is a worthless human.

"Get "only god can judge me" tatted so that everyone in this thread realizes they can't judge you for your tats."

So that is a "joke" to you?....really?
You need to look up the definition of the word.

How old are you?

He is making fun of people that think that way. He is actually agreeing with you. That is why he said it went over your head.

He's in his mid 70's I think, maybe that's why he didn't get it.

Crisp, you can't tell me I'm wrong about what my own intentions were.

You perceived it incorrectly, no big deal.

I'm not trying to be contrary or confrontational, just stating a fact. Whether it's right or not, we are negatively judged by some people who don't know us when they see a tattoo (read the other posts)....again, human nature. The choice to have one is obviously up to the individual. I want my kids to have the best opportunity possible to be successful in life, at whatever they may choose, and I honestly am afraid that a tattoo would hinder that.... just my opinion.

don't make me older than I already am!...let's say "early 70s".
