I know that and, at the time, he hadn't played much and some board actual insiders were saying he had accuracy issues in practice. Huddie had no real inside knowledge, at least not anymore than anyone else. He turned out to right in the end and I said I admitted as much but they way he carried on in every thread no matter what it was about was over the top

Tua played quite a bit last season. Enough, at least, to see that he was easily better than Hurts. It appeared obvious to me too, and we weren't the only ones that thought so. The vast majority, though, supported Hurts to the bitter end.
Just because some supposed "insiders" claimed he turned over the ball a lot in practice doesn't mean it was so. Some of those "insiders" have agendas and some are just damn clueless about football, even though they may know somebody.
Huddie might have kind of rubbed it in after it became apparent to everybody that Tua was in fact much better, but I think more than anything else, those posters just didn't like having been so wrong.
