Legalize it. Imagine the quality ganja Kentucky could produce as a legal cash crop. Tobacco would fade away altogethe

If nothing else Southern states would get a very nice cash crop out of it. Legalize it, regulate it, and most importantly, tax it.

the mountains in North Carolina, Tennessee and Kentucky will do the best due to climate. most southern states will have to have big indoor growing because of all the humidity

I doubt it. It's still illegal federally so it can't be shipped across state lines and has to be paid for in cash since banks aren't allowed to help. More importantly to the point the market for weed just isn't as big as people think it is. The state of Oregon had so many people rush to startup their own farms theres a massive overage about 1 million pounds of Mary Jane they cant sell last year.

LINK

State made a shite load of money off selling growers licenses though.

We finally made it illegal to hang an African American for stealing shite in the last 10 years. I don’t see Mississippi legalizing weed anytime soon.

Yes. Cause they used to gamble on those river boats and the Bible thumpers are a nostalgic bunch.

No. Tobacco is still tobacco, and nothing can compare to a good cigar

I don’t smoke because of work but weed should be legal if alcohol is. Far less dangerous. I would rather my kids smoke weed than become alcoholics.

Man, if you knew what marijuana taxes are doing for the community you’d have a different tone...

Make it legal, like alcohol, tax it, and move on. I don't particularly care for it myself but its no worse then booze.

In my opinion, the government has no right to tax growing a plant.

I'm with you, unless it's being harvested for sale.

I should be able to grow my own, government free weed

I have Chrons and being able to smoke pot would really be great.
It takes away the pain almost immediately.

Check out what it's doing to the legal system. Ask people in law enforcement about it.
