Niffers is a solid suggestion... Byron's smokehouse is another.

Nothing is really expensive in Auburn for lunch.

Assuming 10-15 bucks is cheap enough, Hamiltons.

Little Italy is a great lunch spot too. Cheap but good pizza by the slice and cheap pitchers.

A suggestion you probably won't hear, but is really good is Naruto Cafe. Japanese/Thai food. Chicken & rice bowl is the shite.

Best quality smoked pork in Auburn, by far.

Good suggestion. I know the owners from when I lived in Colorado. Awesome guys. Good Bama fans.

Every time i ever went, it was always dry and over salted.

Prefer Price's or Mike n Ed's (really just for that hickory sauce

Byron's may not be as good as mike and Ed's but terrible it is not.

Also to add some suggestions, I ate at the new pizza place by gay street and it was actually really good. I got the steak pizza with blue cheese. It had a balsamic reduction sauce drizzled over it and it was seriously dank

I've also heard the new restaurant, the hound, is very good as well. I hear they grind up their own patties for their burgers

Haven't been to price's in a long time for anything but breakfast. Mike and Eds is my go to for all around. They have the best sauce and sides. But my testing comes from the fraternity house where we'd get huge trays of bbq from various places, and unsauced, we always thought Byron's was king.

Mama Goldbergs and Toomers for lemonade if you have the time.

He should make the time for that lemonade. Best ever - and take a gallon home, mix it with some Jack Daniel's for the lady and you will have a great evening.

Mama Goldbergs is garbage. It didn't last 6 months in Baton Rouge.

Id hit up Byron's for some BBQ.
