Justified or not? Players demanding a student to be expelled after tweeting congratulations to 1 month drug free for George Floyd.

hell no
if that amazing kid gets kicked out, I hope he sues and brings K State to their knees
in fact, I would not mind seeing EVERY university experience serious financial hardships; even if it means sports are halted for a little while longer than the Kung Flu has already done

Expelling students for saying stupid shite sounds like a really bad precedent to set. It also opens up black students to being expelled in the future for the same reasons. Slippery slope IMO.

If I tweeted something and OM players refused to play until I was kicked out the school would be bleeding for the lawsuit. frick no the ksu players aren’t justified

I'd classify it as extreme ignorance and arrogance to assume that someone should be punished just because they didnt like what he said.
This is what happens when you give in to demands over and over again, there's no end to it and people starting thinking their feelings take precedent over everything else.

But we were assured this was just about Confederate statues! You mean they lied to us? Who saw that coming?

And if the university does give into their demand, what's stopping them from making more demands when something doesn't go their way?

This will be deleted just as soon as PJ and his buddies show up.
Already has once

No. The tweet was quite funny imo. Hell, at least the student got his name right, unlike pelosi
Pelosi says George Kirby, instead of George Floyd, YT

That would be pitiful by KSU if they actually expelled the kid.

That's pretty tasteless
I know all y'all live perfect lives. I wouldn't wish anyone here to be joked on after their death. Ecspecially a murder

Why are we obsessing only about the death of Floyd and other Blacks but not the far greater numbers of Whites killed by cops and Blacks? When controlling for arrests, Whites are more likely than Blacks to be killed by cops.

Do you think it was honorable in Floyd's life that he held a loaded weapon to a pregnant woman's stomach, during a home invasion?
Im not perfect, no one is, but my life is a smidgen better than that.
Don't forget Mr Floyd did have narcotics in his system and got the cops called on him, before his tragic death.

I've seen this posted many times.
It's true, but why should we judge him by what happened 6 years ago then turn around and criticize the cancel culture mob that is going after what the deem is "racially sensitive" social media posts from the past?
All I'm saying is don't be a hypocrite. I'm not equating the severity to the other, only showing the possible double standard.

Because that's what the KSU student tweeted about

It’s not gonna win an NAACP award but damn that text isn’t that bad.
Call their bluff. You can’t just expel kids.

Don't judge me man.

I love this. it is the go to term for bad behavior. I think holding a pregnant lady at gunpoint is just a tad worse than a bad tweet.

No, I meant why is society having a massive upheaval becaue one Black man died? Especially when far more Whites are killed by cops, and Blacks commit 90 per cent of all interracial violence. Why are White such cowards about this? I refuse to shut up about Black on White violence if people are going to obsess about extremely rare White on Black violence.
